Pierce Pepin Cooperative Services is pleased to announce Kristin Pronschinske has been named the Live Better Community Service Award winner for the third quarter of 2023. Pronschinske received the award and a $100 MasterCard® gift card on August 21 for her generous work as a board member and Basics for Local Kids volunteer.

“Kristin is a very active, hands-on volunteer,” said Kim Johnson in nominating Pronschinske. “She is quick to put on the volunteer shirt, clown face, or whatever is needed, especially when it comes to opportunities benefitting local kids.”  Johnson noted that Pronschinske, who is president for the UW-River Falls College of Agriculture, Food, and Environmental Sciences Alumni Board of Directors, is also a member of the Ellsworth Funsters, and volunteers for Wisconsin Special Olympics Track and Field events.

In addition to her volunteer work, Pronschinske enjoys spending time with her family, socializing with friends, motorcycling, golfing, attending dairy cow shows, traveling and exploring new cultures, snowshoeing, skiing, and collegiate sales coaching. Pronschinske is finishing her MBA in Strategic Leadership at UW-River Falls. She focuses on enjoying every moment of life.

Congratulations, Kristin, and thank you for using your talents to make a difference in our community!
